What do you take with you on the boat? It’s a question many customers ask the Sail OnSea team.
You should know that…
The weight of your luggage is not limited when you go on a yacht holiday. To better organise your room, however, it’s best to take only what you know you need.
In addition to the classic beach bag (hat/hat, sunglasses, swimsuit, beach towel, flip flops, sunscreen, light summer clothes), take a set of thicker clothes with you, the evening is spent on the boat and can be cool. A thin waterproof jacket is welcome when the wind blows, for example.
Choose summer clothes in as light a colour as possible because you’ll spend more time in the sun than on any other holiday you’ve ever been on.
The bag in which you take your luggage with you should be made of soft material (not a trolley) and fold up, as space in the rooms is limited. You’ll find freshly changed towels and sheets in every room on the yacht.
Take along a pair of comfortable shoes or shoes recommended for swimming in rocky waters. You can take a snorkel or swimming goggles with you, you’ll definitely have somewhere to use them. A book or favourite music can successfully fill moments of respite. The yacht comes equipped with all the crockery needed to prepare and serve each meal.
Remember!
Your travel documents and camera – you’ll want to show those back home your best photos of the wonderful places you see. In the ports where we dock you can find anything missing from your luggage, so don’t forget your spending money!
