Itinerary

Day 1 -Brac

It is the third largest island in Croatia. It is great for water sports such as surfing, diving and windsurfing on the spectacular Zlatni beach with a mild climate that is perfect for such activities. There are plenty of smaller coastal settlements, such as Postira, Pucišca, Povlja and Milna, which are less visited, quieter, more picturesque and ideal spots for Mediterranean island relaxation. We recommend a visit to Lucice Bay to dive in one of the best underwater caves in Croatia.

Day 2 -Hvar

It is considered to be one of the places you should definitely not miss in Croatia. It is a favorite destination for celebrities and yachtsmen. The natural beauty of the stretch of thin purple-grey land, pierced by jagged bays and gravel bays, with lavender plantations, vineyards and half-abandoned stone villages clinging to the steep central ridge is absolutely remarkable.

Day 3 -Pelješac

Hidden in the mountainous heart of the Pelješac peninsula are small villages and sheltered bays lined with beaches. It is the perfect destination in Croatia to learn about and taste some of the best traditional red wines along with the tastiest oysters you will ever taste. We suggest visiting the Ston City Walls viewpoint to get the most out of the third day of our Split sailing itinerary.

Day 4 -Mljet

One of the greenest islands in the Adriatic Sea. More than two-thirds of Mljet is covered by forest, the western half of the island being declared a National Park. Mljet is famous for its lakes – Veliko Jezero and Malo Jezero – and the abandoned Benedictine monastery from the 12th century, which is located on an island in the middle of Veliko Jezero. It is an oasis of unspoiled tranquility that, according to legend, captivated Odysseus for seven years. For this reason, a cave that took its name – Odysseus Cave – is a must-see on our Split Sailing Itinerary.

Day 5 -Korčula

Korčula is covered with vines, olive and pine trees. The real ornament of the island is the main settlement in the town of Korčula. The island is also surrounded by welcoming sandy beaches at Lumbarda – 7 km from the town of Korčula – secluded pebbled bays on the south coast and rocky slabs on the island of Proizd, right next to the port town of Vela Luka. The Revelin Tower in the Old Town is something worth visiting. Also, Pupnatska Luca beach is a natural miracle that will surprise you.

Day 6 -Vis

Vis is a small picturesque and traditional island in Croatia. Vis was developed in the last two decades because earlier it was forbidden to foreigners for military reasons. It is known for its stunning bays, fantastic traditional food and wine, and two great-looking small towns – Vis Town and Komiža. Tip: Visit Stiniva Bay. For a relaxing time in Vis, you can visit the Bejbi Vis bar and drink a “flampe” cocktail.

Day 7 -Šolta and Split

Šolta is an ideal end to your sailing itinerary from Split, to relax and get closer to Croatian nature. The reason why the Mediterranean climate thrives there is the maquis and olive groves. Solta is ideal for walking and cycling. The main attractions are the half-forgotten Kasbah-like villages in the countryside and the two picturesque harbor villages of Maslinica and Stomorska.

A typical day on the boat

First of all, you should know that most of your time will be spent on the yacht, on the beaches and in spectacular bays.

In the morning, whether we wake up to admire the sunrise, take a swim in the sea, enjoy a good coffee or whatever your morning routine is, on the boat you can do anything, even sleep until lunch.

Navigation. Relax on deck or take the helm and our skippers will be with you and teach you some navigation techniques. We will sail daily for several hours to reach the next destination.

Activities, especially on hot summer days, a splash is welcome, so we’ll take breaks from sailing to cool off in the sea. Various activities can be done such as snorkeling, scuba diving or boat rides or stand up paddle.

We dock to discover a new location every day. It is the perfect opportunity to try the local gastronomy and discover the islands and their stories.

In the evening, after we reach the port, or moor in a spectacular bay, you can end the day admiring the sunset with a cold glass of your favorite drink or you can go to a tavern in the old villages, lost in time.

The next day we start over for a week, sunset after sunset, sunrise after sunrise!

Where do I stay?

Accommodation is in cabins on the yacht. The cabins are equipped with either double beds or single beds (bunk beds) and all have storage space.

In the case of catamarans, the cabins are equipped with their own bathrooms.

One of the greatest pleasures of a sailing enthusiast is sleeping on a boat. There is nothing more soothing than the sound of the sea at night!

On every type of yacht there is a central salon with a fully equipped kitchen where you can be your own chef.

Where will I eat?

Breakfast that can be served on the yacht, or at one of the many taverns on the islands.

You can prepare lunch on the yacht, at anchor, in a secluded cove, or go to a terrace, after which you will continue sailing or you can stay longer in a place to visit.

Dinner, after arriving at the port, or at the anchorage, you can go to a tavern in the old villages, lost in time, which offers the delights of the local cuisine, in an atmosphere full of history.

Is sailing far out at sea?

Is sailing far out at sea?? Answer: NO

We will enjoy the beauties of nature sailing along the coast stopping at beaches, in spectacular bays or crossing to a new island.

The route will be made so that the daily sailing duration is short, 1-3 hours.

Where do we moor at night?

We moor every time in a new place, whether it will be in a port or in a spectacular bay, the sea will be calm and during the night the movement generated by the waves of the sea will not cause us discomfort.

Will I get seasick?

There are also people who can sometimes accuse this kind of slightly unpleasant sensation that is caused by our inner ear, the main center of balance. Fortunately, there are plenty of solutions for this, so you don’t have to worry (there are dedicated pre-departure medications and little seaman’s tricks that work every time). Our skippers will be attentive to anticipate and resolve any unpleasant situation.
