A catamaran or sailboat vacation is a perfectly balanced mix between accessibility and fantastic experience. We simply know everything you need for a truly superb holiday – places, experiences, locals, bays, taverns, trails.
According to mythology, Vulcano was the location of the blacksmiths of Hephaestus, the god of fire, metals and the fine arts. Numerous volcanic phenomena can be observed, from smoke clouds, steam vents (both at the mouth of the volcano and under the sea) and sulfuric mud holes known for their therapeutic properties.
Lipari is the largest island in the chain. Here the Archaeological Museum is one of the unforgettable places – it is hidden in the Lipari Castle, which stands out on the eastern bay of the island, between its best docks, Marina Lunga and Marina Corta. There is also a wonderful Greek acropolis and a Norman cathedral. And one of the most interesting activities is to go around the island’s coasts by boat, admiring its splendid houses (Fico is particularly nice) and the beaches of Vinci, Valle Muria, Punta della Castagna and Capo Rosso.
Panarea is the smallest of the Aeolian Islands, but it is also the oldest and attracts many tourists for its clean water, underwater volcanic craters and nightlife. Together with the tiny islands of Basiluzzo, Spinazzola, Lisca Bianca, Dattilo, Bottaro, Lisca Nera and the Panarelli and Formiche boulders, Panarea forms its own tiny archipelago. The tourist port is at the intersection of San Pietro, where visitors can enter characteristic houses, bottes and shops.
Stromboli is actually the most active volcano in Europe and boasts frequent and spectacular eruptions that can best be seen from the Italian Navy Observatory at Punta Labronzo. Lucky visitors might get to see the Sciara del Fuoco, the lava flow that descends into the sea. Other places to visit include San Vincenzo, the medieval borgo surrounded by very special white houseboats, the isolated fishing village of Ginostra clinging to the rocky side of Stromboli, accessible only by animal trails, and Strombolicchio, a giant boulder – of course , born from an eruption – which is above a large lighthouse.
Salina is the second largest island and has the highest reliefs in the archipelago. It is also home to a beautiful fern wooded area (la Fossa delle Felci), set on jagged cliffs above the island’s gorgeous beaches (Pollara being one of the most notable). Don’t miss a visit to the house where the beloved “Il Postino” (starring Massimo Troisi) was filmed.
Portorosa is a tourist complex characterized by villas, surrounded by greenery, overlooking the navigable channels, along which there are moorings that make up a prestigious tourist port.
It is located in the deepest point of the gulf, between the suggestive gulf of Milazzo and Tindari. It is the largest Sicilian tourist port and one of the most exclusive in the Mediterranean. The housing units are divided into lots, accessible from the front from the internal roads to the complex, and from the back through pedestrian alleys or directly from the suggestions of navigable canals.

First of all, you should know that most of your time will be spent on the yacht, on the beaches and in spectacular bays.
In the morning, whether we wake up to admire the sunrise, take a swim in the sea, enjoy a good coffee or whatever your morning routine is, on the boat you can do anything, even sleep until lunch.
Navigation. Relax on deck or take the helm and our skippers will be with you and teach you some navigation techniques. We will sail daily for several hours to reach the next destination.
Activities, especially on hot summer days, a splash is welcome, so we’ll take breaks from sailing to cool off in the sea. Various activities can be done such as snorkeling, scuba diving or boat rides or stand up paddle.
We dock to discover a new location every day. It is the perfect opportunity to try the local gastronomy and discover the islands and their stories.
In the evening, after we reach the port, or moor in a spectacular bay, you can end the day admiring the sunset with a cold glass of your favorite drink or you can go to a tavern in the old villages, lost in time.
The next day we start over for a week, sunset after sunset, sunrise after sunrise!
Accommodation is in cabins on the yacht. The cabins are equipped with either double beds or single beds (bunk beds) and all have storage space.
In the case of catamarans, the cabins are equipped with their own bathrooms.
One of the greatest pleasures of a sailing enthusiast is sleeping on a boat. There is nothing more soothing than the sound of the sea at night!
On every type of yacht there is a central salon with a fully equipped kitchen where you can be your own chef.
Breakfast that can be served on the yacht, or at one of the many taverns on the islands.
You can prepare lunch on the yacht, at anchor, in a secluded cove, or go to a terrace, after which you will continue sailing or you can stay longer in a place to visit.
Dinner, after arriving at the port, or at the anchorage, you can go to a tavern in the old villages, lost in time, which offers the delights of the local cuisine, in an atmosphere full of history.
Is sailing far out at sea?? Answer: NO
We will enjoy the beauties of nature sailing along the coast stopping at beaches, in spectacular bays or crossing to a new island.
The route will be made so that the daily sailing duration is short, 1-3 hours.
We moor every time in a new place, whether it will be in a port or in a spectacular bay, the sea will be calm and during the night the movement generated by the waves of the sea will not cause us discomfort.
There are also people who can sometimes accuse this kind of slightly unpleasant sensation that is caused by our inner ear, the main center of balance. Fortunately, there are plenty of solutions for this, so you don’t have to worry (there are dedicated pre-departure medications and little seaman’s tricks that work every time). Our skippers will be attentive to anticipate and resolve any unpleasant situation.
