Itinerary

Day 1 -Kobas Bay

Known for its delicious cuisine, Kobaš Bay epitomizes the healthy Mediterranean diet. Celebrate traditional grilled and fried fish, fresh from the sea and paired with vegetables and wines. During your stopover on the Elaphiti Islands, explore one of Croatia’s authentic fishing villages tucked away in Kobaš Bay.

Day 2 -Sobra (Mljet)

Port Sobra, at the eastern end of Mljet Island, is another quiet fishing village. Sobra is ideal for quiet relaxation. Although there are no large beaches, you can swim from the rocks. There are a few local restaurants in town, but the magic of Mljet is in its wild, untouched natural beauty. Two-thirds of the island is a national park, making this a perfect stop for hiking, kayaking and swimming.

Day 3 -Korcula

Built on the foundations of an old Greek colony, Korčula is steeped in history. Here you can see Gothic and Renaissance buildings, including St. Mark’s Cathedral. In addition, Korčula is the birthplace of Marco Polo and you can visit the house where he supposedly lived.

Day 4 -Zaklopatica (Lastovo)

Located on the island of Lastovo, Zaklopatica is a beautiful wooded bay in the northern part of the island. In 2006, Lastovo was declared a nature park, as 70% of the island is covered by dense forest. With only three restaurants and a handful of houses, the island is relatively uninhabited. This makes it the ideal place for divers to explore the crystal clear waters.

Day 5 -Polace (Mljet)

Polace is another beautiful place on the island of Mljet. It is the largest bay of the island and the safest, as it is sheltered by four smaller islands. Polace, as one of the two entry points to the National Park, is bordered by dense forest. Two-thirds of the island is a national park, making this a perfect stop for hiking, kayaking and swimming.

Day 6 -Sipan

The last stop on the Dubrovnik Sailing Itinerary is Sipan. As the largest of the Elaphite Islands, Sipan has many things to do or see. You can go to the highest point, Velki Vrh, which rises 243 meters, or you can explore the two villages of the island, Suđurađ and Šipanska Luka.

Also with a beautiful valley rich in olive and fig trees, Sipan became famous for its wine. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with an opulent historical setting. As many wealthy Dubrovnik families summer on the island, there are a number of exquisite mansions that populate the island’s landscape.

Day 7 -Dubrovnik

In 1979, Dubrovnik was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A city rich in history, Dubrovnik has always had ties to the sea. Built on maritime trade, it became one of Europe’s most important seaports, rivaling even Venice at one point. The important heritage of the sea shines through in the many aspects of Dubrovnik’s culture. With stunning architecture, a delightful pedestrianized Old Town and majestic ocean views, Dubrovnik certainly has a unique feel.

A typical day on the boat

First of all, you should know that most of your time will be spent on the yacht, on the beaches and in spectacular bays.

In the morning, whether we wake up to admire the sunrise, take a swim in the sea, enjoy a good coffee or whatever your morning routine is, on the boat you can do anything, even sleep until lunch.

Navigation. Relax on deck or take the helm and our skippers will be with you and teach you some navigation techniques. We will sail daily for several hours to reach the next destination.

Activities, especially on hot summer days, a splash is welcome, so we’ll take breaks from sailing to cool off in the sea. Various activities can be done such as snorkeling, scuba diving or boat rides or stand up paddle.

We dock to discover a new location every day. It is the perfect opportunity to try the local gastronomy and discover the islands and their stories.

In the evening, after we reach the port, or moor in a spectacular bay, you can end the day admiring the sunset with a cold glass of your favorite drink or you can go to a tavern in the old villages, lost in time.

The next day we start over for a week, sunset after sunset, sunrise after sunrise!

Where do I stay?

Accommodation is in cabins on the yacht. The cabins are equipped with either double beds or single beds (bunk beds) and all have storage space.

In the case of catamarans, the cabins are equipped with their own bathrooms.

One of the greatest pleasures of a sailing enthusiast is sleeping on a boat. There is nothing more soothing than the sound of the sea at night!

On every type of yacht there is a central salon with a fully equipped kitchen where you can be your own chef.

Where will I eat?

Breakfast that can be served on the yacht, or at one of the many taverns on the islands.

You can prepare lunch on the yacht, at anchor, in a secluded cove, or go to a terrace, after which you will continue sailing or you can stay longer in a place to visit.

Dinner, after arriving at the port, or at the anchorage, you can go to a tavern in the old villages, lost in time, which offers the delights of the local cuisine, in an atmosphere full of history.

Is sailing far out at sea?

Is sailing far out at sea?? Answer: NO

We will enjoy the beauties of nature sailing along the coast stopping at beaches, in spectacular bays or crossing to a new island.

The route will be made so that the daily sailing duration is short, 1-3 hours.

Where do we moor at night?

We moor every time in a new place, whether it will be in a port or in a spectacular bay, the sea will be calm and during the night the movement generated by the waves of the sea will not cause us discomfort.

Will I get seasick?

There are also people who can sometimes accuse this kind of slightly unpleasant sensation that is caused by our inner ear, the main center of balance. Fortunately, there are plenty of solutions for this, so you don’t have to worry (there are dedicated pre-departure medications and little seaman’s tricks that work every time). Our skippers will be attentive to anticipate and resolve any unpleasant situation.
